Beware of the website impersonating NextVerse to scam investors!
If you don’t want to lose money and get scammed, never connect your Metawallet wallet and buy any tokens on this fake website.
Recently, we discovered a website with the address nextversesale.online, which was created and shared by a Telegram group called “Nextverse — Social-oriented” (https://t.me/nextverse_chats) to impersonate NextVerse and defraud investors.
For a long time, this website (and this group) continuously copied and posted information and images from our project, causing users to mistake this as the official NextVerse website/group.
Most of the users in this group are actually bots. In particular, the people behind the Telegram group banned any user from commenting on it to conceal their counterfeit behavior.
At the same time, this website/group also invites investors to participate in the public sale (held on this website) by providing a token contract address and requiring investors to use BUSD/USDT/ETH/BNB to trade tokens on DEX like PancakeSwaps.
This scam website is holding a public sale for investors. However, NextVerse is not holding any public sale at the moment.
We consider this a sophisticated scam and may cause unnecessary financial loss to NextVers investors. Therefore, we recommend that you NOT connect your Metamask wallet (when asked) and not trade any tokens when accessing the above website.
Besides, we would like to clarify some information as follows:
- NextVerse is not holding any Public Sales at the moment. According to the roadmap, we plan to start the Public Sales soon in the coming months. We will quickly reveal to you about the specific time shortly.
- We will launch Public Sales exclusively on the platform of GameFi and RedKite, which is also the official partner of NextVerse, not on our website or any other website. The token contract address of the NVER token will also be revealed by us a day before the public sale begins.
